The business needed a highly professional and attractive platform to explain a novel concept—deploying automated laundry machines in communal living spaces. It had to look credible enough to convince facility managers and college administrators, while remaining user-friendly for end-users scanning their laundry.
02. Technical Decisions
I chose Next.js and TypeScript to build a robust, high-performance foundation capable of handling both heavy promotional assets and future transactional logic (payments and machine unlocking). SASS was utilized for complex, attractive animations and fine-grained styling control, ensuring a premium feel across all devices.
The Challenge
Coin Laundry is a modern, tech-enabled enterprise platform built to streamline the deployment and operation of automated washing and drying machines across residential societies, offices, PGs, and educational institutions. Currently serving as a highly attractive, fully responsive digital storefront, the platform effectively promotes the business concept with fluid animations and a polished UI. The architecture is designed with scalability in mind to support upcoming phases, which will integrate a seamless scan-to-unlock feature for interacting with the machines directly via the web app, alongside a secure payment gateway for automated billing.
My Strategy
- Designed and developed a premium, conversion-focused user interface using Next.js and TypeScript.
