The client experienced severe conversion rate drops from Apple device users due to an iOS Safari compatibility bug breaking checkout flows. Unstructured global CSS was also causing difficult styling conflicts across different screen breakpoints.
02. Technical Decisions
I rebuilt the internal component architecture using ReactJS and Material-UI to enforce design consistency. To permanently fix the Safari bug, I diagnosed viewport height calculation discrepancies and instituted a more robust CSS-in-JS solution for bottom navigation elements.
